Elephant Plate was a New Jersey–based business founded during the pandemic, originally launched as an online meal delivery service offering well-balanced, nutritious meals to the community. Focused on wholesome, organic ingredients and the convenience of fresh meals delivered directly to customers’ doors, the company quickly expanded its model into an e-commerce platform. Just a few months later, Elephant Plate opened its first brick-and-mortar store, extending its reach and creating a physical space for customers to engage with the brand.

The Problem

As a new business entering a competitive and rapidly changing market, Elephant Plate needed a complete brand identity and digital presence from the ground up. The challenge was to establish a visual style, brand voice, and user experience that would resonate with young working professionals and young families interested in organic, wholesome meals while also adapting seamlessly from meal delivery to e-commerce and eventually retail.

The Strategy

Working closely with the marketing manager and CEO, we set out to create a clean, fresh aesthetic that reflected the quality of the food and the brand’s values.

  • Visual Identity: Developed a vibrant, health-focused color palette paired with clean typography to communicate freshness and modernity.
  • Website Design: Built a user-friendly site with intuitive navigation and strong product presentation to make browsing and ordering effortless across both meal delivery and e-commerce offerings.
  • Packaging Design: Created packaging aligned with the new brand identity, ensuring a cohesive customer experience from website to doorstep and in-store.

The final brand identity and website positioned Elephant Plate as a modern, approachable, and health-focused service. The digital platform was visually engaging, easy to navigate, and adaptable to the brand’s evolving business model.
